Mobile Notary Fee Calculator

Independent product

A fee calculator that helps mobile notaries quote a job by separating state-capped notarial fees from travel and service fees, with state fee references and loan-signing, travel and profit calculators.

The problem it addresses

A mobile notary’s quote mixes two kinds of money. Notarial fees are capped by each state; travel, printing and service fees are set by the notary. Mixing them up on an invoice can look like overcharging a regulated fee.

What was built

A web calculator and an iPhone app that price a job line by line, keep state maximums visibly separate from travel and service charges, and include dedicated loan-signing, travel-fee and profit calculators plus pricing guides. The site states a versioned fee dataset with a published update date and marks which jurisdictions were verified from official sources.

Why it is relevant here

The same discipline applies to business automation: separate what rules decide from what a person decides, show the source and date of reference data, and say plainly where the tool stops. It is a shipped product, not an AI implementation or a client result.

Next step

Start with one conversation about one piece of work.

An Automation Assessment is a first conversation about fit: what your team does repeatedly, which tool you already use, and whether a workspace setup or a single workflow is the sensible first step. If neither fits, we will say so.
