Work

What we have built and run — labelled honestly.

Fieldwork is a new firm. Client engagements are published only with the client’s permission and real evidence. What you can inspect today is the founder’s own building and operating work, each item labelled for exactly what it is.

  1. The Real Estate Investing Club

An interview podcast for active real-estate investors, hosted by founder Gabe Petersen since 2020, with a website that organizes hundreds of episodes by topic and turns guest booking into a single self-serve step.

What it showsRunning a recurring production operation — guests, scheduling, publishing and an archive — and building the website that holds it together.

  2. Mobile Notary Fee Calculator

A fee calculator that helps mobile notaries quote a job by separating state-capped notarial fees from travel and service fees, with state fee references and loan-signing, travel and profit calculators.

What it showsTurning a rule-heavy pricing task into a tool people can use without reading statutes — and keeping regulated amounts separate from discretionary ones.

  3. Self Storage Calculator & Water System Logbook

Two published iPhone apps shaped by the founder’s real-estate operating background: a self-storage underwriting calculator and an offline logbook for water-system readings at mobile home parks, RV parks and campgrounds.

What it showsTranslating operator know-how — how a storage deal is evaluated, what a park’s water records need — into tools a non-technical person can use on site.

  4. Workflow Walkthrough

Three common administrative workflows — inquiry routing, booking handoff, and document draft and approval — shown stage by stage with sample data, including what happens when information is missing.

What it showsHow we think about a workflow before building it: the trigger, approved inputs, what the system does, where a person reviews, and the output.

9 iPhone apps, shipped.

Calculators, logbooks and planners published under the founder’s App Store developer account. They show the habit of finishing and shipping. They are not an app-development service, and they are not evidence of AI implementation, paid adoption or savings.

An Automation Assessment is a first conversation about fit: what your team does repeatedly, which tool you already use, and whether a workspace setup or a single workflow is the sensible first step. If neither fits, we will say so.
